Description
IFP Puro combines the special properties of a sintered CARBONIT® monoblock with microfiltration of 0.15 µm through the internal Ster-O-Tap® capillary membrane. Even high loads that could accumulate in the organism are reliably removed and stored. The filter cartridges of the type IFP Puro are ideal for low line pressure and enable bacterial loads to be limited. The Ster-O-Tap® capillary membrane is tested according to ANSI/NSF Standard 53 (Cyst and Turbidity Reduction).

Performance
The filter cartridge must be changed after 6 months (according to DIN 1988). In principle, 5,000 litres of water may be filtered within the 6 months. However, an earlier change may be necessary if the water flow is noticeably reduced. An early change is not a defect of the filter used, but an indication of increased occurrence of fine particles in the unfiltered water.
- Filter fineness: 0.15 µm (membrane); 5 µm (activated carbon)
Flow rate: approx. 6 to 8 litres per minute (at 4bar)

- Use only with cold water, protect from frost
Due to the extremely high fineness of the IFP Puro, pre-filtering is recommended in cases of rapid flow reduction due to particles.
Please note the six-monthly filter change recommended by DIN1988/8 to ensure filter performance.
